Our Mission
We chose to raise cows on our farm to help naturally manage grass and weeds, provide nutrient-rich manure for compost, and support healthy pasture rotation to preserve the land. Our focus is on small dairy cows—they produce milk but remain manageable in size, making them ideal for Kauai’s smaller agricultural parcels and homesteads, typically ranging from 1 to 5 acres. While full-size cows usually require 1.5 to 2.5 acres each, mini cows need only about 50–75% of that space, making them a more practical option for local landowners. Plus, their smaller size often means a gentler, more docile temperament.
Their Lives
Our dairy cows spend their days roaming the hills and eating grass. Their natural diet is supplemented with organic grain to maintain healthy protein and plant based mineral levels in their diet. Every morning, the cows receive personalized attention and are either milked by hand or with the assisted automated milker The baby cows receive one on one socialization and halter training.
